The workforce of GBI was formerly working under the company Lions Convergence Construction and Development in Butuan City with independent planning and decision-making with its own source of funds, manpower, and equipment.
It engaged project contracts in one of the biggest power producing company in Mindanao, the King Energy Generation Inc with its multi-billion-peso built power plants. In three years, the group behind this success spearheaded the construction of four operating power plants of the company.
